Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is in each parent's prior marriages. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and was hoping to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the switched from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions.
