Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles and her younger sister Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as an infant on a field trip to school to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next eleven years. Biles took home a gold medal for floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of competition in 2011. The following year Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles stood out for her consistent, having an exuberant and lively personality, and also incorporating a high degree of difficult into all her events - vault uneven floor workouts.
