Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is from a multicultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, while her mother was English. She grew on an estate in South London community estate, and at the age of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. She performed in various stages during her high college days, such as the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then, she's made guest appearances on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. After the film's success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha in The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. She was Bambi on The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes on The CW, and was eventually ended. In February, she was cast 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge during two seasons. In May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following a guest episode in the very first series of the 3rd. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as a couple in Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Her parents were Roy and Patty along with her older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played hockey and baseball and basketball in spring and summer. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She danced. So when she was 2 and a 1/2, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered her love for dancing at the age of. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major divisions up until her graduation from high school. She was a competitor in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and the acrobatics. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the distinction of "top soloist".
