Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Ruiz Ruiz Ocasio born on January 10, 1993, is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. He is referred to as the "King of the New Reggaeton",[2][3He is part of "the younger generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. His debut album, Afrodisiaco (studio album) was released in the month of November in 2020. The album he followed with his second studio album Vice Versa, which debuted in June 2021, included the lead single "Todo de Ti". He has won two Latin Grammy Awards from twelve nominations. Raul Alejandro Olasio was born in San Juan (Puerto Rico) on the 10th of January 1993. His family was raised in Carolina and Canovanas. The father of Alejandro and guitarist Raul Ocasio , Ruiz and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) introduced him to numerous of his musical influences such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley as well as Chris Brown. Six years ago, Alejandro and his father resided in the continental United States, mainly Miami and New York City, where his inspiration came from the R&B and dancehall genres. He also enjoys songs that are rhythmic and ballads. Billboard said that it's been instrumental in helping "set him apart from a growing class of reggaetones with a pop-leaning".
